To live in holiness you must hear your heart and reason whit your mind. God give you this for something. At the end, your salvation will come for the good deeds you made in your life. Of course that beliving in God will give you more chances to be in heaven, but even if you believed in the same God but with another name, in many gods or in the true one, your salvation will come if you love your brothers and the world and if you do something good for them. Just something to reason about. And dont dislike rock and metal, hear of that music what you need, dont take serius those things that you dont like and be tolerant and just say "I dont like that music but its fine if you like it".
