Mufasa's death still makes me cry. I mean, okay, it's bad enough when he's struggling through the stampede or begging for Scar's help while calling him "brother" or falling...but then Simba says "We've got to get up!" and crawls under his paw and...aaagghhh! *sobs*

Taylor Swift is the only pop artist I don't dislike. Of course, I suppose by default I can't hate her because every other person I meet tells me I look like her -- and this is after I died my hair from blonde to red! But anyway, besides that, her songs are just so fun. :)

So beautiful. :) My (high school) choir has just started singing this. Our tenor section is pathetic, though -- we had two phenomenal tenors graduate last year, and we have, like, four basses to each tenor or something ridiculous like that.

I was so obsessed with TLK when I was little (still am)...but I love how I never realized how dark some of it is until I re-watched all of it as a teenager.

This, in my opinion, is the second-best Disney villain song -- followed by Hellfire, tied with Be Prepared. The three villains who sing those songs (Shadow Man, Frollo, Scar) are also my three favorite villains. Also, Shadow Man ties with Frollo for my favorite Disney villain death. Yeah, Princes...

I cried watching this when I was five, now I cry at fifteen. No doubt I will cry just as much when I'm fifty-five. I don't care how old I am or how many times I've seen this, Mufasa's death will always be the saddest and most beautiful death of any movie.

Erm, her name is Barbara Bonney, not Bonnery. She's a very prominent opera and classical singer.

@HikariAppleButterFly To add that, she was also the original Christine from Phantom of the Opera and is the best classic crossover singer. Ever.
