I am a music lover and was influenced by playback singer late Shri Talat Mahmood since 1956 and used to sing his private and film songs I cud not pursue Music as a whole time profession though/ Later in 1980s i took to formal training of vocal singing voice culture lessons from Late Ustad Shri Abdul Rehman Khan a great name in the Thumri gayaki and he gave training to Gulam Ali Madhurani and he made Suman Kalyanpur as she was only 14 when she became his disciple FolkSinger Surinder Kaur Mohinder Kapur and Mannadey jee also took his training
I am now in full time music making my own songs and doing remakes of some of the songs of Shri Talat Jee and was in the Habitat Culture Centre to present EK SHAM TALAT MAHMOOD KE NAAME on 15Sep 08 singing by myself for more han 2 hr and 15 mts due the audiences choice songs made a total of 32 songs with no break
Later on a Live Music Concert with Padmashree awarded Music Director Ravi was organised on 16 Nov 08 in Delhi where i introduced two of my associates RB Lall and Ms Pavitra whom I gave some training in vocal singing I have made two albums of Bhajans of Bhagwan Ram and Bhagwan Krishan which are on sale in US and got lot of applause due i spent lot of effort and money in making a very good music enchanting to the listeners apart from the good lyrics of shri Sandeep Thakur. The other album I made is HAI O RABBA - 4 punjabi songs and 4 hindi songs three of the Punjabi songs are already taken over by Producer Rana jee for his film DEHSHAT which will be release on 01May09 and I will be able to exhibit the songs for display on the Youube.com with the film clips of the songs
