This is a clip from the film AN UNREASONABLE MAN ======================================== === From answers.com: "Though the commission [on Presidential Debates] is meant to sound like a official government arm, it is actually a private entity, funded entirely by corporate contributions from companies like AT&T, IBM, Philip Morris, and others."
To this day, even after shutting out Ralph Nader, the COMMISSION ON PRESIDENTAL DEBATES is still rigged by former Republicans and former Democrats. ======================================== ===
The following mission statement is from the COMMISSION ON PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES' own website. Take note of the LIE in the last sentence where they insist that they sponsored "ALL" candidates! ======================================== == "The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was established in 1987 to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners. Its primary purpose is to sponsor and produce debates for the United States presidential and vice presidential candidates and to undertake research and educational activities relating to the debates. The organization, which is a nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation, sponsored all the presidential debates in 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004." ======================================== ===
WHY AREN'T THE MAJOR NEWS MEDIA NETWORKS RUNNING THESE DEBATES.
WHY IS A PRIVATE CORPORATION RUN BY DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS RUNNING THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES?
HOW CAN THE DEBATES BE TRUSTED IF THEY ARE RIGGED BY THE TWO LEADING PARTIES WHICH ARE MERELY TWO SIDES OF THE SAME WORTHLESS COIN?
WHY ARE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ALLOWING THIS SHAM TO CONTINUE?
IT IS IN THEIR OWN SELF INTEREST FOR THE COMMISSION ON PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES NOT TO ALLOW THIRD-PARTY CANDIDATES TO PARTICIPATE IN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES.
THE DEMOCRATS AND THE REPUBLICANS HAVE AN UNLAWFUL MONOPOLY ON WHO MAY OR MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES.
======================================== === Read the CANDIDATE SELECTION PROCESS on the COMMISSION ON PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES own website: http://www.debates.org/pages/candsel2... ==========+===FROM ANSWERS.COM============= The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was established in 1987 by the Democratic and Republican parties to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners. Though the commission is meant to sound like a official government arm, it is actually a private entity, funded entirely by corporate contributions from companies like AT&T, IBM, Philip Morris, and others.
The Commission sponsors and produces debates for the United States presidential and vice presidential candidates and undertakes research and educational activities relating to the debates. The organization, which is a nonprofit, bi-partisan corporation, sponsored each of the presidential debates held since 1988. The Commission has moderated the 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 debates. Prior to this, the League of Women Voters moderated the 1976, 1980, 1984 debates.
During the 2000 election, the CPD stipulated that that candidates would only be invited to debate if they had a 15 percent support level across five national polls. Ralph Nader believed that the regulation was created to stifle the views of third party candidates by keeping them off the televised debates. Nader brought a lawsuit against them in a federal court, on that basis that corporate contributions violate the Federal Election Campaign Act

Are we intellectually lazy subscribing to the lowest common denominator of thought? The nation is spiraling down in ignorance as we stop reading and spend most of our time in front of the television.
There is such a large request about the music selected for this video: 1st soundtrack by Thievery Corporation (Resolution) 2nd soundtrack by E.S. Posthumus (Nara)
A footnote on this video: I made reference to Ron Paul because he is the only candidate that is not entangled by CFR or Trilateralist politics. For those of you who don't understand, watch Endgame, Freedom to Fascism and many other documentaries. If you research the rest other than Kucinich, you will see they are members! I'm providing a solution to the crisis we're in. People need hope to how we get out of this mess. You all know we're in trouble! This is why Ron is mentioned. The mainstream media hates this guy! Please no more hen picking. Do something instead of complaining.
We're all fed up with the status quo. 2008, many of you will lose your homes, 401k's, savings, etc. The dollar has declined by 60% and the public at large doesn't understand what will happen to their purchasing power. They're experiencing it now with high gas prices, food, etc. Recession is here NOW! Say goodbye to America and hello third world as long as the voters have amnesia.
I don't know how anyone can blindly follow the Democratic and Republican front runners after a long list of blunders such as hurricane Katrina's aftermath, lying about the war, the first responders for the world trade center, etc. The first responders (NY) are dying and our brothers and sisters in Mississippi, LA and Alabama are still in need. Remember, freedom is not free. You get what you vote!
