Hi! Well I guess to state the obvious my name is Bethany Marie and I'm 16 years old. I live on a beautiful historic country property in Tasmania, Australia. It's a pretty area, the local town being tiny and only having about 120 residents. That's including me and my family!!
I love music, and trying to write songs that come from my heart. Music is almost everything to me. It's how I can share who I am, what I believe. Sometimes its my personal diary, other times I feel music lets me express what I see go on around me in this world we all share.
I'm lucky to live in a beautiful country area, where I can ride my horse, keep fit by running around the nearby old football oval, and have many a fun adventure with my brothers and sisters.
My faith is very important to me, and I do try to live it out. I think that's what it is all about, living what you believe and not just talking fancy words. I believe in love, in caring, and I hope you might feel this through my songs.
My guitar and me have only been together for about 3 years or so now. Before that I used to bash on the drums! I also play keyboard yet sometimes its so frustrating trying to learn how to get the instruments to let me express what's inside me. I bet thats a battle many of you understand! If only we could connect our hearts to our guitars or the microphone, but that's feelings for you, putting them all into words and music in the way you so want to do can be frustrating. And if you feel you get it right then wow, thats always such an awesome moment!
THANKYOU for listening to my music, and I would love to hear from others. I hope I'm not writing too much I'm just wanting to share who I am! I'd also love to be able to meet and share with other musicians who feel like I do about life and music.
