Collecting the best tools for learning and superlearning for student and adults.
About Me:

I love everything to do with being able to use tools and strategies to learn faster and more effectively. Especially super learning.

My first exposure to accelerated learning tools and strategies came when a University in the 1980's where I did a speed reading course called Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics . It was great training and gave me the taste for better ways to learn.

In the late 1990's I discovered that Baroque music at a certain speed was claimed to increase the production of alpha waves - which are very useful for study!

I looked long and hard for a collection of just Baroque music at 60 beats per minute but could not find one.

So my brother and I decided to make our own. It turns out that one of the best Baroque guitarists in Australia lived in our city, teaching at James Cook Uni.

A month or two later we found ourselves "producers" - and our collection of "Super Learning & Relaxation Music Vol I" has been selling steadily ever since.

Two of the videos in this channel feature some of our music - the 'slideshow' videos.

Our music - like pretty much all Baroque music (because of the structure) at the tempo - is great for several different strategies. One is a "passive concert", which means just play the music QUIETLY in the background while you study or meditate. It leaves you feeling calm and thoughtful.

Another strategy is "active concert", where you record the material you want to learn using our music as a backing track - then listen to it. Great for language learning.

Any kind of meditation or relaxation is helped by playing the music softly in the background.

We have donated many copies of the CD to school libraries for use by teachers in class. "It "calms" the students down so they can think." was one comment from a special ed teacher.

There is a free Super Learning Super Tips eCourse that includes mp3 samples at www.superlearningmusic.com that is great for anyone wanting to study more effectively. The site is still a bit crooked looking after a crash - but still works.

I will be putting any videos on this channel that I think have value for super learning, great music resources, or anything vaguely related that is interesting.

Thanks for visiting,
James
