Prices at best buy took a huge jump after Christmas.They used to have an Toshiba L755-S5308 for $449 with an I5 but they have removed it completely.I was waiting for a decent I7 price drop anyway but now it feels like they are not even trying to give me a deal.Ultra-Books are a rip-off with the less for more hipster douchebag attitude of apple who only survives off corporate welfare anyway. And the Santa commercials sucked. You can thank me and the big red man for the deer crap on your front store window.

Anyone who is offended by "Santa bashing" needs to remember what CHRISTmas is REALLY all about. I loved the commercials this year. Way to end the year Best Buy! The rooftop one is my fav!

Back in the 1970s, Schlitz Beer ran a "You Want To Take My Gusto Away?" ad campaign, which was derisively renamed the "Buy Schlitz Or I'll Kill You" ad campaign. In-your-face and mean-spirited, it helped kill the brand nationally. The "Game On Santa" ad campaign (which might as well be the "Fuck You Santa" ad campaign) may not kill Best Buy off -- not fulfilling pre-ordered Christmas items is more likely to do that -- but it shares the same "What were they thinking?" mindset as the Schlitz spots when it comes to being in-your-face and mean-spirited. People will remember the ads, but not in the way Best Buy hoped for.

Congratulations to Best Buy for their Epic Fail Award on all fronts of marketing and fulfillment.

I agree the Santa bashing makes me want to stay away from best buy. It just accentuates the wrong things about Christmas.
