Due to a family crisis, busy seasonal work, and the upcoming 1st anniv of my Mom's death, I'll rarely be on 'til after the holidays. I want to pray blessings of love, peace, health, and joy for each of you, not just at CHRISTMAS, but all throughout the New Year. (11/7/09)

IN MEMORY of my birth-mom Sarah Frances, who died Dec 22, 2008. I had no idea that I would miss you so much, but I do...every single day. Mama, I pray you're finally at peace and rest. I love you. Peanut/Missy

HOWDY and WELCOME!
This is my first (and main) channel, opened on my birthday, and re-opened Feb '09, after being closed for over a year. My other 3 chnls are: http://www.youtube.com/user... http://www.youtube.com/user... http://www.youtube.com/user...
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the ongoing YT copyright nonsense, hundreds of vids have been removed from my various music lists, virtually decimating them. I don't have the heart or the time to re-do them, nor will I be creating more lists - what's the point?

Hope y'all enjoy what you see and hear on my chnls.

SOME THANK YOU'S:

To all the talented vid makers who create and/or upload vids: THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Your hard work and efforts are truly enjoyed and appreciated. You generous folks are the heart and soul of YT.

To my subscribers: I'm deeply grateful and thank you for subbing to my chnls. I have no vids of my own, so it never ceases to humble me that folks would sub. It means so very very much to me! And if I didn't sub you back, please remind me. :)

And last, but certainly not least, a big THANK YOU to my dearest friend Thomas, who is my very heart. Albert Schweitzer once said: "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame with an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." That is exactly what you've done for me, my friend! Your beautiful music and patient, tender love have performed the miraculous in my life. You've brought me back from the brink and shown me I have so much love and life left in me. (I cannot wait for you to show your lovely country to me!) I will forever be grateful to you, my sweet English minstrel. I wish I had a thousand lifetimes to show you what you mean to me. I love and adore you with all that is within me.

About Me:

To quote Popeye, "I yam what I yam": a chocolate-addicted Libra, proud Southern Belle/Georgia Peach. I love people, enjoy helping them, am fascinated by their life-stories, and curious as to what makes folks tick. I adore and appreciate men and love to [harmlessly] flirt. For us Southern girls, flirting is as natural and essential as breathing. I'm a big kid at heart, have a wacky sense of humor, love to laugh and make others laugh. I'm a classic car freak and my fantasy car is a '64-1/2 or '65 red Mustang convertible. I've been enthralled by airplanes since I was a child and hope to resume flying lessons and get licensed. I'm equally at ease all glammed up or being sweaty and dirty working in my garden. I'm a country gal and am blessed to live in an area where I can explore woods, streams, and fields for hours. I've a need to touch, taste, or smell almost everything I come in contact with - I'm allergic to bees so that's not so very wise! Sunsets, fragrant flowers, rain, and full moons make me high. I'm an Anglophile (which means I love all things English) and dream of touring the rural English countryside, seeing all the old grand estates and gardens. I dearly love my pets and have been blessed to have many. I much prefer dogs but currently have 3 cats and 1 hen. Job-wise, I've worked at a resort since '96, take customer service calls from my home, and also have my own errand biz. Politically, I'm a staunch libertarian who believes in big freedoms and very small govt. I hate war but fully support, honor, and respect our awesome and brave armed services. I'm a very imperfect Christian who doesn't bash folks with my faith, or pretend to be "holy". I also won't deny Christ or His Gospel! My fave Bible verse is Psalm 27:10- 'Though my mother and father forsake me, the Lord will receive me.' (I'm living its truth!)

What I want to be said of me after I've left this world: "SHE TRIED".

Music:
Music is one of God's best gifts to us! It soothes my soul, touches my heart, and makes me feel so alive! I love to cry to a sad tune and also love to dance to a good beat. The smell of vinyl records is sweeter than the finest perfumes! I have very eclectic tastes: country, gospel, jazz, soul/funk/r&b, pop, rock, metal, disco, classical - both yesterdays and todays. Growing up, I had very limited exposure to the pop music favored by my peers, as only country, 1950's, and gospel was heard in my house. I've been trying to play catch-up since about 1980! I've loved Elvis Presley since I was still in my mothers womb, and The Moody Blues are my fave group. I also adore 'Sir Macca', John Denver, Bob Dylan, and Noel Gallagher, just to name a few. PLEASE NOTE: To shorten my page, I've moved my extensive music faves list back to my workinprogress82 channel, where it was originally.
Books:
I've loved stories and books since I was a kid. If it's in print, I'll give it a try. I don't do e-books or books on tape/cd. I have to see, smell, and touch a real book! Give me paper with words on it and I'm happy. Too many fave titles and authors to list here. My fave genres include: theology, classics, mysteries, biographies, history, true-crime, medical/forensic, English fiction, Southern fiction. The Holy Bible is my only instruction book/self-help manual.

We like to hear tales of Santa Claus
They're really lots of fun.
But best of all is the story true
Of how God sent His Son.
Jesus was born in a stable crude
And cradled in the hay.
The world became a different place
When He was born that day.

-Author unknown.
I recited this poem in a church play when I was in the 3rd or 4th grade. I still remember the words to this day.

Tales of Santa and his reindeer
Cold weather and falling snow.
Decorations of holly and garland
Brightly wrapped presents and bows.
Trees with ornaments and lights
Of silver, gold, red, and blue.
Every day is like Christmas
Because of friends like you.

Christmas begins in the heart
With a kind thought or deed.
It's not about presents or trees
But of giving what we really need:
The precious gift of love.
It was born from above
That first Christmas night
When He came to give us hope
He came to give us light.
