Berlin 1979-1981, 40th Armor-6th Infantry. also did guard duty Spandau 1980. Not a lot of who can say proudly that we were at the very front of freedom. It may sound like a cliche to some, but when you can look out your window and see why you are there it really hits home.

this is a M60A3, not a M60A1. I was a tanker, CoF 40th Armor Berlin Brigade 1979-1980, you can tell its a A3 by the thermal shroud which dissipates the heat from the main gun. This shroud was not on a M60A1.
