Emotions come through music via the musician, not the instrument. It doesn't matter if it is guitar, piano, violin, mandolin, sax, drums....whatever it may be. I have seen just as many emotionless performances on piano than any other instrument.
This video is about warming up. Starting with all down strokes is a great way to warm up the right or picking hand. Once you got that down, add in the up strokes and you are good to go.
I don't really think that Pete plays like Thile. Though there is some influence there, I think there is a bit more traditional influence and a bit from Grisman.
To me this shows a lack of inspections and a lack of communication. Walls of this size needs to be inspected during the entire building process to ensure proper wall construction. Also, there needs to be some sort of communication between the engineer and the developer and the builders. Simple so...
Irrigation leak? So what you are telling me it that this wall was not engineered with proper drainage. Hollow core blocks, geo-grid, proper drainage and gravel backfill, proper compacted back fill and you won't have this problem.
