I haven't read the Quran but I have read many books about it. I've been studying the history of Islam, the theology of Islam, the character of Mohammed, the canonization of the Quran, the Hadiths... I have to say, I have a problem with the Islamic stand that Jesus was born of a virgin (this idea has its roots in pagan beliefs) that he was not crucified (which speaking historically is false). I do plan on reading the Quran in the next week or so. Also you do know that everybody claims that their book is the truth and a life changing miracle, right?

Thanks. lets see now, can you tell me why you are a Muslim? I mean, I'm a former Christian, and i say former because I studied my former faith. Have you studied your faith or only listened to your apologists? Oh and Islam is not really growing do to conversion (maybe birthrate) but not conversion. Also what about all of those people who have left Islam?

Dank je wel voor je reactie broeder, hahaha maar ik ben een zuster ;). Ik zal eens een kijkje nemen op de site die je aangaf. Ik word elke dag een stuk wijzer en ben ook begonnen om de koran te lezen en wil steeds maar meer en meer weten.;). Wie weet kunnen we elkaar helpen of in ieder geval jij mij. Oja toch 1 vraag...Voordat je een bekeerling was wat voor geloof had jij en waarom de keuze tot de Islam?
