This great, upbeat arrangement "If I Ruled the World" had to be a song originally recorded for 1970 "The Andy Williams Show" LP, but it apparently was scrapped at the last minute in favor of a cover of a more current hit like "Snowbird" or "El Condor Pasa."

This was a lipsynch of a track from his 1986 Atlantic album, "Close Enough for Love," which featured contemporary arrangements of standards (like "My Funny Valentine" and "Change Partners") and more recent fare like this one and "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?" This was perhaps the last best...

This Christmas classic has Steve Allen written all over it -- perhaps because the creator and first host of the "Tonight" show wrote it. Satchmo was the first to record it, but it has since been covered by The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Diane Krall, and Bette Midler. Way cool!

How fitting to be doing this Christmas classic from Rock Plaza, for it was written by Steve Allen, the creator and first host of NBC's "Tonight" show! Louis Armstrong was the first to cover it in 50 years earlier.

Using Muppett stand-ins for his three brothers, Andy recreates "Jubilee Time," a number that he and his brothers used to perform with Kay Thompson in their hot nightclub act in the late 1940s and early '50s. Here, Andy sings all four parts. Incredible!

This is hardly the elegant pop standard fare for which Andy is best known, but one of those fun, "sunshine pop" hits of the early '70s that Andy could nail with equal brilliance. The album from which this track is taken, "You've Got a Friend" ("A Song for You" U.K.) , also features Andy's knock-...

Didn't get into the Beach Boys until their first renaissance in the mid '70s with "Endless Summer" and "Spirit of America." I was thrilled when the "15 Big Ones" LP came out and downright excited to hear all the elements there -- classic but subtly updated -- on "It's OK," which should have been...
What a rare clip of these three together! Really fancy playin' and singing'! Do you know what program this came from?
