Bellhaus Entertainment is a creative communication and entertainment company that specializes in artist management and development; record producing and publishing; and live event management and production. Jeff Tan, the company's C.E.O., conceived the company some in 2005 with Philippine Music Industry icon Bella Tan, his late mother and the former head of a major Filipino record label. Jeff and Bella envisioned a company that would primarily offer Filipino artists an open and creative space to pursue high-quality artistic endeavors that would service not only the Philippines but the global market as well.
The untimely death of Bella Tan put the project on hold until May 2007 when Jeff decided that it was the opportune time to jumpstart the company. Jeff, who is both child and product of the entertainment industry, is a maverick music video, television, and film director. Jeff also functions as C.E.O. of Philippine-based production company Screencraft Productions.
Jeff initially aimed to position the company as a record label. However, after conducting several studies and observing evolving trends in both domestic and foreign music and entertainment industries, he and his team came to a unanimous consensus that the best way to execute the vision of Bella Tan is to venture on a creative communication and entertainment company that encompasses almost everything that an artist needs in the contemporary entertainment industry - from artist management to record production and distribution to music publishing to the conceptualization and implantation of live musical events among many others.
Today, the company has officially signed up former teen idol turned television talk show host Jojo Alejar, pop bands Mojofly, Sopiz and rock bands SOTC and Felipinas.
The company employs a full staff of young and talented professionals who are working on artist and repertoire management, artist development, publicity and marketing, music publishing and recording, and event management and production.
Jeff Tan explains that "at the outset the company will center on the promotion and marketing of the artists locally. One of the long-term objectives of Bellhaus Entertainment is to give its current and hopefully future roster of talents solid support in penetrating the highly potent and profitable international market."
