I'm a run of the mill individualist and homo bopiens living in Stockholm. Have a hard time letting the pillow go, especially on Monday mornings and the bed and I have a love affair you can only dream of. ;O)

Like to have a good scotch once a while with invited guests: Socrates, Oscar Wilde, Salma Hayeck and Friedrich Nietzsche. A Hoyo del Monterey to get a sweet taste and then Eddie Cochran, Elvis anno '57 or Jussi Björling can perform.

Alfred Packer also wanted to come for dinner, but as he is the only person in USA convicted for cannibalism, the other guests felt uncomfortable. Thus his approval is pending.

In 1953 Eddie moved to Bells Gardens, CA, hence the username. Don't let the strings rattle, folks
About Me:

I watch people: At first I thought he was walking a dog. Then I realized it was his date. Some people have all the characteristics of a dog except loyalty.

There is no distinctly American criminal class - except the Congress.
- Mark Twain

Twain abouth his father:
- When I was 20 I thought he was the stupidest man I ever met. When turning 30 I was surprised how much the old man had matured the last 10 years. ;O)

Against logic there is no armor like ignorance.

All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure. - Mark Twain
Hometown:
Stockholm
Country:
Sweden
Occupation:
Time machine researcher.
Companies:
Staying alive
Schools:
School of hard knocks aka life
Interests:
Crawled out of my dungeon of lazyness and 'kill' the weights now, so beware CA - maybe you'll have to change to a new Governor soon. ;O) Music. History. Internet. People. Books. Everything that's going on in the world but at same time I get tired of all disasters, criminals, diseases, greed, corruption, stupidity, ignorance. political corectness. All, isms, religions and cultures that use violence, kill and throw havoc on fellow men in order to stay in power. Every generation seems/are bound to repeat same mistakes as the preceeding one. Many times men have only learnt that they haven't learnt anything from history.Dislike the trolls that thrives in the void and sometimes snatch info from me.Prefer car instead of Air plane. Don't like to be up there in the void!
Movies:
Best movies lately: American Me, The Air I Breathe, The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, Batman Begins, I'm A Fugitive From A Chain Gang. Some all time favorites: Leaving Las Vegas, Capote, The Last picture show, Der Untergang, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Last Detail, Fawlty Tower, Heat, On the Waterfront, Das Boot, The Thin Red Line, Schindler's List (only time a movie have been better than the book), Alien. Favorite actors; Jack Nicholson. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, M.Emmet Walsh (The Walsh factor - if he's in a movie it can't be bad) John Lithgow. Philip Semour Hoffman. Mr 'pale face' Christopher Walken. Stan and Laurel. Marx Brothers.
Music:
Rockn'Roll, R and B, Blues, Rock-A-Billy, Boogie-woogie, Soul, Gospel, Zydeco, Cajun, Opera ( tenors ) etc. In the time frame late 1930s to early 1960s. Highlight is the nifty fifties. Since then it's been downhill. Some new music too if it feels right but most of it doesn't. I'm stuck in a time bubble...and I feel damn proud of it!
Books:
The Naked and the Dead by Norman Mailer. Too many non fictional mentioning here.

Okay, good.I'll keep Elvis smorgasbord as my lead vid the next four weeks, until the big youtube break down in the beginnig of march.Sure it was because the money Elvis made those movies and songs in the 60's.Good to remember from how poor circumstances he came from. From one thing to an fifth.People will probably escape from youtube to one another video site called Zippcast.com after march 1st.At least many Elvis fans will do that.See ya.

... I meant songs in the films from the 60's Elvis sang
TheSunRecords (5 days ago)
... ah, smorgasbord... yes, it's perhaps the danish word of smörgåsbord Elvis is using in his... not exactly best song.Okay, I have never listened to the end of the song.I just can't bear these songs he had to sing in many of his 60's songs. No, wonder he hated them too.Yes I guess so about the americans and their knowledge about the 1950's Rock n' Roll.We have been talking about this before and it's just a cold fact that we Europeans knowing much more about the issue than themselves.maybe they are improving but still they don't have an idea of Eddie and Gene. Some 30 years ago they had no idea of Rockabilly.Must had been a hell to be an Rockabilly singer in USA when people in general could not have cared less. With some few exceptions.Ronny Weiser in California for instance. And he was an italian lol.

... yes, I have also seen live a LOT of the original artists from the amazing 50's... but I don't wanna talk about that now... but to the end this yakety yak talk, I bet you have never shaken hands with the all time greatest footboll player: Pelé? Well, I did that 1986 in Helsinki, and I also got two autographs from my childhood hero.Bye... :D
TheSunRecords (6 days ago)
Well... I do hope you did not forgot to mention any name of all artists you have ever seen or met or someone else of your friends has met.Yeah, of course you are N-O-T bragging. That's not your style at all... LOL.Okay, anyhow, that's true what you saying about the social part here.To be able to talk and meet people around the world here on youtube. It has been fun but now the end seems to come near of all that.Because after march 1th the new channel design will be forced upon us everyone. No matter if you like or not. They are doing it only to get maximal profit out of it all.

...Lapland.Did you know Santa Claus is living there? In the finnish Lapland on the mountain: Korvatunturi.I guess the German Wehrmacht never found his home there 1944.Otherwise they would had gladly torched it down.

Yes, Etta James died today... can't remember when I heard her sing first time.Although I remember that I borrowed an LP with her from the local library sometimes in the mid 80's.Quite amazing but our small library had a pretty large collection of black Rn'B (the real deal of course not todays ****) and I got to know many of the 50's Rn'B ladies... such as Ann Cole, Ruth Brown Lavern Baker, and last but not least Etta James.Ever since then I adore these ladies. They had soul in their singing.Well, what I'm doing at the moment?I'm typing some mambo jumbo here on your page.No... really I changed my background picture. To something silly that the ladies might like... hahaha.

Yes, that's one of those "heartbreak songs" that is hard to beat.Every sunday it's in fact boycotting day here on youtube. You know because of the upcoming new layout. But I don't think one day in the week is enough. It should be at least one whole week.
