America needs a leader who is educated, thoughtful and ready to challenge the status quo that has dominated US politics in the past. The negative commentary surrounding Barack Obama's messages of HOPE and CHANGE are perpetuated by fear. US founding father, John Adams said in 1776, "Fear is the foundation of most governments; but it is so sordid and brutal a passion, and renders men in whose breasts it predominates so stupid and miserable, that Americans will not be likely to approve of any political institution which is founded on it."

I am an Australian citizen, who cares about the outcome of the US elections. I want to promote these videos because the level of discussion on the internet and in some sections of the press right now contains a scary mix of unthinking drivel and mindless adherence to any stupid confabrication that's out there. I'm only hoping that most of those people haven't actually taken the trouble to get themselves registered to vote.

It is really a GOOD thing that future President Obama is smart, honest, and ethical. Know you're not used to these traits, but you'll come to appreciate them.
