The only version I've heard of this great song to date is by shirley Bassey. She just can't do this kind of song and frankly sounds out of her depth. Now this is more like it so beautifully sung. Off to Amazon to get the CD!

Fantastic! As I lived as a young woman during this period I can tell you the lyrics are very realistic and represent all that was rotten in the cities of USA and many other major cities in the world.
