Bela's spirited improvised blues style may be sourced in the early delta blues players like Skip James, Lightnin' Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, and Muddy Waters... Shakin' and pullin' the strings.

The psychedelic improvised musical stylings of Bela Ray lean more towards the earthy Band of Gypsy's... with the "message of love" espoused by the late Jimi Hendrix: "We gotta live together."

Bela was recently invited to sit with the legendary Johnny Winter and chatted a bit about music and blessings. Johnny's advice to aspiring guitarists: "Practice, Practice, Practice". When Bela asked for his blessing, Johnny said, "You already blessed."
