About Me:

Do what you love, and love what you do! And for me...that means none stop video games and pole dancing!

Common questions/comments I find quite frequently on pole videos:

1. Your mom/dad must be proud.

Actually, because there is nothing wrong with pole dancing, it's great exercise, it's a challenging activity and it's fun to see yourself grow in skill and strength...there's naturally nothing to hide from my parents. They're the most proud (hey, in their minds it gets me off the couch and away from the 360) ;P

2. Why do pole dancers wear little clothing?

Anyone who has tried pole dancing knows how difficult it is to "grip" the pole while wearing clothes; Skin contact is essential to doing climbs, inverts, holds and a lot of spins. While some people choose to wear costumes when they dance, there is nothing "slutty" about wearing a bikini or a sports bra to pole dance. The more skin contact, the better the grip, the SAFER it is to pole dance.

3. Pole dancers are the same as strippers.

Poles have a negative connotation because they are associated with strip clubs, but that does not mean anyone who uses a pole to dance with is automatically a stripper. That's like saying because pit-bulls are known to be used for dog fighting, anyone who owns a pit-bull must participate in dog fights. Assuming that an association with a specific object leads to a specific result is nothing short of logical fallacy (Post Hoc if I'm not mistaken?)

4. Only strippers and whores wear those big high heels/boots.

See comment 3 above.

My pole is a 50mm Chrome X-Pole - static only - but hopefully one day I will have an X-Pert. :)

You look good on high heels, and you are showing really good progress on your moves. Keep posting. Bye.

Good job, you are doing very well. A quick tip to scorpio: you can arch you back and with your left arm you will grab your left leg, and you will be holding the pole with your right hand and also holding under your right arm (I think the name is armpit; you can use for that move your entire right arm to hold yourself) so you can have two ways to hold with only 1 arm letting go the other one. But be carefull, try first on the floor. Many kisses.

I bought a X-Pole last year, but the size 45 mm was kind of too big for my hand, and the poles from the studio I have classes are like mine (somebody hand-made it) and about 38 mm, so, I saw how they did it at the studio and told my husband, and he made just like I told him, and I sold my X-Pole last year. Now my problem is, I can not do anything I learned in a 45 mm pole, what is not good, because now is a "bad habit", I just can do all moves in a pole like mine. See the point?? This week I will try to learn the Brass Monkey, and I will try to post. If you need any help, and If I can help, just let me know. Take care.

Hey; ... my husband made the pole and it's very easy. I think the cost was about $50,00 for everything. We bought everything on Home Depot and Lowes. If you want to make one, I can show you all the pieces and how he made, but it's very very easy ( and my husband never did something like that and the pole it's just perfect). Also, there is many tutorials teaching how to do it, and Joel the Pole Dance Fan, he show how he did his. Anyway, if you need something, just let me know. Kisses
