The bees are moved from the apple tree to a new home in a couple of modified wooden wine boxes.

This is a close-up of the bees around the entrance to the box. Notice the workers flapping their wings and pointing the way in to the bee box.

The bees which inhabited the moving box are now in a new bee box.

Another group of bees have formed a hive in the tree just a few feet away from the moving box.

Some bees have inhabited a moving box near an apple tree. Did they see the shamrock as a good omen?
