At the moment I am working on a project with Am Johal and many others to have the "2010 Homelessness Hunger Strike Relay" In Vancouver gain momentum. It began December 29th to call for the re-establishment of a National Housing program in Canada. Each week new volunteers in Canada will join the fast for 7 days. The hunger strike will continue past the 2010 Olympics to June 2010. Supporters from across the country will board the train to Ottawa, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the On the Ottawa Trek and demand the government to support affordable housing, a living wage and accessable social programs for all.
