Not many bands can claim that, at their peak they were very popular and very good. Here is an example of just that. Propelled by Rickenbackers, it's just massive. The clip - bleh: typical very late 70's. Just listen. An all-time ear-worm.

An accidental classic. The end of this otherwise fairly run-of-the-mill wartime WB toon is terribly, inadverntently poignant, summing up the horrors of WW2, though it would have been overlooked at the time. So much better than most other WB shorts, and they still haven't re-released it.

When I met Bob in jan1998 he dissed this, his first 'solo' cd. God, you nong ! Songs/tracks like 13th Animal, Sawblade, Weeds, Rainy, were jawdropping. This one is a treasure. Bob, I dunno if you still have a problem with it, but I think it kicks ass. Oh dear, that's not a prog review, innit?
