When I went to see some American/Candians they use to be shocked at my accent. Although, I had an english accent, mine was quite London modern, and you know what, yeh they use to think that all british people like tea and biscuits in fairy cups, and are all posh

Not all Brtisih people speak like this - I repeat, if you go around different areas, you will be shocked at how different we all speak English..

BTW, the way you talk is quite middle class- kind of reminds me of my relatives.

There is no way, to speak with a British accent. There are millions of accents within Britian. BTW, in London to be specific, there are cocky, posh, ghetto and old school ways of speaking!! So we are not all ' can I have tea and biscuits please' as some Americans think...

Im Brtisih, you don't have an british accent 100%, I can easily switch to Ameircan accent, purely because of realtives, who I stayed with...

English accent, is not ' posh', we have different ways of talking in every part of Britian.

Some of us are ghetto, some of us are posh, some of us are coc...

I really love the yorkshire accent, it is a pitty I have the London accent, and I so want sheffiled accent. My friend came over, to London and I just loved how she pronoced cerain words such as ' You donoo Me, im from shefield !! GR8
