i can see why some people might find the song and video sad, in a way it kind of is. but i think the bigger picture of the video is a celebration of the Beatles and what they were and perhaps the biggest thing their roots and influences.

when you talk about the break up of the beatles its sad, but i find some comfort in that some of the best beatles solo stuff came right after their break up. McCartney, All Things Must Pass, Ringos single of It Dont Come Easy and Lennons Imagine LP in 1971.
