About beastlydebater
I'm going to use this channel as a tool to better the world. My videos will serve to inform the public about pressing issues and government policy.
If you have ideas about anything you think I should report on, feel encouraged to leave a comment on my channel or one of my videos with your suggestion. Regretfully, I'm not an infinite wealth of knowledge. Close though. :)
Also feel free to express any dissenting opinions you may have on my channel or any of my videos. I am a staunch advocate of public discourse and always enjoy a lively debate. Be forewarned however, that if you fail to be courteous in voicing your opinion I cannot guarantee my response will be courteous either (and in fact, I can feel safe to assure you with some degree of accuracy that it will not be).

I am 17 years old, and attend Goddard High School in Goddard, Kansas. My junior year I discovered my niche: Policy debate. In that class I first discovered my love of politics and philosophy. In researching for debate tournaments I stumbled across many pressing issues that had never been brought to my attention. Needless to say, I was shocked, I mean, why had these issues never been brought up in the mainstream media before? Why does one need to do the most digging to bring the most pressing matters to light? It didn't make sense to me, so I decided to make these issues more accessible to the general public. But I'm not serious 100% of the time. I love to perform and make people laugh. I'm in my school's concert choir, a church choir, and take voice lessons at school. I also participate in Forensics, a class you can take where you can perform in either acting or speaking/debating events at various tournaments. I've actually been to the state tournament two consecutive years. I also auditioned for our school's improv group, but I missed it by a very slim margin. Although my friends in the group did say I should have made it.
