@Kewkwonkawe The Lawnboys (green mowers) are 2 cycles while the Toro & Snapper (red mowers) are 4 cycles. That is why they sound different.

You should test the compression, ignition, and carburetor in that order. It sounds like it has good compression so you can probably start at ignition. You need an inline tester (can pick one up at Harbor Freight or any auto parts store), which will tell you if the ignition is firing properly. ...

Why is the fridge thrown away? Guessing freon was removed. In my city, a separte truck picks up items like fridges, ranges, etc for recyling? Why not here? Besides, looks like that little RL had problems with the fridge. The whole darn assembly is bulging a little bit.
