Sharon Silverstein is a musician and singer/songwriter for the past 26 years. She loves to love and share the peace and joy of her life through music. Her intention is for her music to move people to greater self-awareness and help them to realize their true nature, LOVE.

Silverstein attended Mason Gross School of the Arts were she received her Bachelor Of Music degree and a New Jersey Teaching Certificate. She taught in the NJ public schools as a band director for 14 years. For the past 8 years Sharon has been the founder and president of Living At Peace, LLC, a New Jersey based company that creates a world where adults and children can feel unconditional love for themselves and others. Sharon leads drumming circles for team building, health and wellness, assembly programs for children, and the pure joy of music making. She is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, and french hornist.

Sharon Silverstein released her selfproduced album Living At Peace in 2002 and released her second album Alive in 2006. Sharon comes from a long history of musical performances and has been performing her music since 1984. She released her new CD "Kirtan Live" this fall 2009. Sharon and her work have been featured on local cable television and radio programs, in local and county newspapers, and in national magazines.

Inspirational folk-rock singer/songwriter Sharon Silverstein rocks people to greater self-awareness, unity, and world peace by combining powerful lyrics and motivational rhythms. Ms. Silverstein and The Peace Project touch the very soul, conveying ideas about unconditional love, grace and the great potential all humans have for true wisdom. Ms. Silversteins lyrics hit you at a deep, almost subconscious level. Her resonate voice — a little bit Sheryl Crow, a touch Grace Slick and a smidgeon Janis Joplin — gives her music a transformational quality. Anyone who listens to her CD Alive gets a kind of Living At Peace spiritual boot camp. Songs like Unique Me, Begin With The End In Mind and Its All Good fit in perfectly with the visualization and manifestation movement — what used to be called the power of positive thinking but has found a mega-audience through the book and film The Secret.
