Brett's done everything from Stand-up to Shakespeare in the most prestigious venues in the country. He has been creating and directing sketch comedy for 15 years, highlights include: Co-Founder of "The ID," an award-winning sketch group that took first place in the Kids in the Hall competition, Writer/director/performer of the New York Fringe hit "The extraOrdinaries" with long-time comrade Al Del Bene, member of "Jambalaya," a successful NYC sketch group with Rich Aronovitch, who did countless sold-out shows in Time Square.

Cambridge Chronicle said, "He is so likeable he could get away with murder (on stage)." NPR said "...handsome talent snappy dresser and a riveting story teller."

Brett finished the summer season at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, moved to LA and in just three weeks followed Tim Allen at The Hollywood Laugh Factory where he is now a regular comic. Brett is now living in West Hollywood and creating several projects for the Web, film and television.

Brett received a BFA in Acting with a minor in Writing from Emerson College and an MFA in Acting with Honors from University of California at Davis. For his master's thesis, Brett embodied 10 different characters in a 20-minute one-man show; he is working on expanding the piece to 90 minutes and even more characters. A teacher, songsmith, actor, director, writer, and comedian, and producer Brett is a jack of all trades...and Master of them too!
