It's hard to know what to recommend, because the climate changes from area to area and the products also can change quite a bit. My best advice is to go to a local supplier of finish products, as they should know what works for your area and also for the situation you need it for, interior or exterior. Glad to see you made it back safely, I hope this helps.

Afghanistan was interesting to say the least, but Im finally out of there and back in Germany waiting to come home. Thanks for the videos, I can't wait to try my luck at making some things. I had one question for you, what kind of sealer do you use. Ive been looking for some liquid glass but havent been able to find any. Are there any other good sealants out there?

RIght on. Im starting my own coffe tabe business. I got enough wood to make about 25 tables. I making them out of wood that comes from dumpsters, old barns, or just wood lying around. I just some ideas on the legs...I cant figure out how to make those yet. Wood love some input please. (pun intended) thanks

Thanks for subscribing David. I posted this latest video a bit early, so you could take a look at it. I tried my hand at using logs for home building but only in the interior of the home. Craftmanship is nowhere near your beautiful work but we gotta start some where. Enjoy the video.
