Over 1,700 babies are born at Burnaby Hospital each year. Many of these babies experience all the normal events they should in coming into the world. However, there are some that experience complications or arrive too soon and require critical medical attention. When these events occur, Burnaby Hospital's dedicated physicians, nurses and staff are on-hand to give our tiniest patients their chance at life.
