i had Gastric Bypass surgery on 26th june 08,

i have 3 wonderful kids,ages 3,5 and 7,
my youngest boy has a life threaten condition called Tracheal Stenosis which is hard emotionally at times on the family.
i'm 5ft10in and live in the north east in England
my max weight ever was 26st =(364 lbs).BMI was 52.2..it was a few years ago (2003-04) about 2,5 years ago i lost 5.5 st(111 lbs) as i went through a depresion where i hardly left my bedroom and when i came out of my depresion i slowly went back up to 23st aprox(322 lbs)december 07.i got down to (299 lbs) to qualifly for surgery in jan 08
21st 11 lbs=(295 lbs) on the start of the 2 week pre op diet 11/06/08. 25/06/08.
20st 11 lbs=(281 lbs) day of op
20st 11 lbs=(281 lbs) day i left hospital 29/06/08
02/08/08 big moment for me went to swimming pool and went for a swim first time in 10 years aprox maybe more , cannot not believe i did this,for years i've sat at the side of pool fully clothed while wife and kids swam such a big big moment,hope its the first of many.
27th sept 08 i reach one of my goals..my wedding weight of 17 st=(238 lbs)..so proud i reached this one
12/11/08 20 weeks after op 16st 0 lbs(224 lbs)1 lbs loss this week but big mile stone for me ((my max weight ever was 26st =(364 lbs).BMI was 52.2..it was a few years ago (2003-04))so to recap i've lost 10st or 140 lbs from my heavest weight and my BMI is 32.1 at the moment
im 15 st 13 lbs today,first time i've seen 15 on the scales in a very long time
26/11/08 22 weeks after o19/11/08 21 weeks after op 15 st 10 lbs =(220 lbs).p 5 month surgery anniversary and its to the day(wednesday) 15st 7 lbs (217 lbs) so 3 lbs down this week...(i'll take that!!)
30/11/08 went paintballing today i'd done paintballing but back in feb and i was struggling with the weight back in feb and i was struggling with the weight i was carring but today it was so much easier to crouch and run and dive and roll about the place..it was great, i felt alive with adrenaline...got some bruises(war wounds)lol
03/12/08 23 weeks after op 15 st 6 lbs =(216 lbs).
10/12/08 24 weeks after op 15 st 5 lbs =(215 lbs).
17/12/08 25 weeks after op 15 st 4 lbs =(214 lbs).
wore my first 36&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;quot; jeans of the 20th dec for a christmas work do

24/12/08 26 weeks after op 15 st 1 lbs =(211 lbs).
26/12/08 6 months post op today!!
christmas morning i was 15st 1 lbs, boxing day night i was 15st 4 lbs :(
problem was christmas dinner and christmas left overs , the mother-in-law cooked the dinner and i had some but not much and she commented on i had not ate much so i stupidly force myself to eat more to please her!!
and then picked on left overs later that night and boxing day aswell :(

07/01/09 28 weeks after op 14 st 12 lbs =(208 lbs) 14/01/09 29 weeks after op 15 st 1 lbs =(211 lbs)
04/02/09 32 weeks after op 14 st 12 lbs =(208 lbs) :( put 1 lb back on
24/08/09 had surgeon review today and was told i didnt need the cpap machine anymore :) so so happy on hearing this YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!! :)
04/03/09 36 weeks after op 14 st 5 lbs =(201 lbs)
can wear 34" jeans now :) and medium t shirts
06 04 09 i saw my normal family doctor today and he give me a goal of 180 lbs which is 5 lbs heaver than the goal i had set for myself
8/04/09 41 weeks after op 13 st 13 lbs =(195 lbs)
06/05/09 45 weeks after op 14 st 0 lbs =(196 lbs)
24/06/09 52 weeks after 13 st 13 lbs =(195 lbs)
so 1 year out...:) time flies max ever weight was 26st =(364 lbs).BMI was 52.2
op weight 20st 11 lbs=(281 lbs) today weight was 13 st 13 lbs =(195 lbs)
27/06/09 13st 9 lbs = 192 lbs :) so happy
today i was 12 stone 6 lbsYour BMI result is: 25.0
