Big Bad Irish is dedicated to bring the most powerful, most professional and most energetic rock show to fans across New York and New Jersey -- and they've been doing it each and every time out over the past four years.

Fans are noticing, voting the band one of the best in Morris County in the Daily Record's annual competiton in January 2009.

Big Bad Irish mixes a heavy dose of rock's lost classics (from bands like Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Jethro Tull & Led Zeppelin), blues (Buddy Guy and John Lee Hooker) and new music (Weezer, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam & the Black Crowes). Over the past four years, Big Bad Irish has been relentless in laying its claim to being one of the best in the business.

The band is fronted by lead vocalist Dave Murphy, with Scott McMahon and Shawn Murphy forming a formidable one-two punch on guitar, all backed up by the thunderous combination of Glen Hampson on bass and Jay Fritzsch on drums. As one new fan recently said, "Just a bunch of guys that know how to play and keep the energy up." And BBI has been keeping the energy up all over New Jersey and New York at venues including Jimmy's Rock Cafe (Moonachie, NJ), Rambling House (Woodlawn, NY), Dexter's (Riverdale, NJ), the Orange Lantern (Paramus, NJ), Rhodes North Tavern (Sloatsburg, NY), Chubby's (Red Bank, NJ), Hansil's Bar & Grille (Oakland, NJ), as well as Tavern off the Green, Hennessey's & The Dublin Pub (Morristown, NJ).
