heres some info on akatsuki
itachi - a true killer killed his entire clan other than his lil bro sasuke and the mysterious madara uchiha - deacesed (killed by sasuke) *update* brought back by kabuto

kisame - a very very weird shark man looking thing that just refuses to die my research on him isnt much but i do know that he died of suicide. (he summoned sharks to eat him so guy and (i dont know his name) couldnt get info on him.

deidara - (my fav) a explosive artist whos passion lies with his art. he has mouths on his hands and chest that eat clay and infuse chakra in it then he moulds it into his art then....boom. died by suicide (couldnt win against sasuke so he stuffed a big wad of clay in the mouth on his chest and well...art is...A BLAST! *MAJOR UPDATE* deidara is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes alive!!!!!!!! kabuto brought him back!!!!!!!!!! my deidara kun is alive!!!!!!!!1

sasori - a very lonely person whos parents were killed after becomeing the greatest puppet master alive joined akatsuki and was killed by sakura and granny chio. *update* was brought back by kabuto only to realise he did not belong in our world and his soul was realesed.

hidan - a immortal servant of jashin with his triple bladed scyth and spike he kills anyone in the name of jashin (alive but burried in serveral miles of stone and rumble)

kakuzu - a true to the book akatsuki member he can make some kind of string come out of his stiches also has multiple lives because he steals the soul of others (killed by narutos rasen shuriken) *update* brought back by kabuto

konan - the only girl she mainly protects nageto but can turn her body into paper. (killed by madara)

pein (nageto) - the only person with rennegan his creation (the six paths of pain) are extremly strong all i know is the gravity pain was killed by naruto nageto commited suicide by bringing every leaf village shinobi he killed back to life. *update* brought back by kabuto

tobi (madara) - update* we finaly have 100% proof of tobi being madara in the most recent manga konan blew up the top half of his mask off (not completly) his right eye is in shadows but u can see the sharingan pupil. madara is a very old powerful uchiha with unlimited power able to go intangible and use izangi without his eyes closeing completly he has finaly revealed his moons eye plan. there was a ten tailed beast then the first shinobi split it into the nine differnt tailed beast ( hint hint) its body becomeing the moon (hint hint) madara plans to get the tailed beasts awaken the ten tails become its host and project a infinent stukiomy off the moon onto everyone and force peace (Sounds more like he wants to rule the world huh?) but first he needs the six paths of the first shinobi he has 3 the rennnigan sharingan (idk the other) and the last three are unknown.
update! well i saw something in a very recent manga, 2 people resurected by kabuto seem to weild the "six paths weapons" i think madara might try to get those im not sure. *update* he wanted nothing to do with the weapons, he let the ckloud ninja seal the 2, cus they had the 9 tails chakra and he stole the gourd and sealed them into the giant statue thing. along with the one tentacle from the 8 tails, it is believed that the moons eye plan may soon come into effect. what hes useing itachi or pain for yet is unknown, we only know that they are currently together talking about what they are being used for (sense they had no real want to kill anyone after their death kabuto didnt let them use their will power, so hes controling them.)
