This man probably has never had any formal training, but listen to the "Sur" and "Maza" that no guru can teach you and give you. This is music people. It evokes a particular emotion and creates "mood" which is hard to define. It brings delight.

i have never seen any sitar players death or alive hold the sitar like that. it is not practical when it comes to generate speed .

Now this is music, sur and maza, people. Sad that there is not even ONE Afghan musician who can do this. We buy the best Armonia and tabla and Instead of Riaz (practice) years and years before coming to the scene, we work on our first album/video.

i have never seen a tabla player play so effortlessly, including Ustad Ji Zakir Hussain. And that should be the reason we should never compare these giants of music with one another. They all have their own uniqueness and individuality .

Another sad reality among is that even if we do learn a little, we automatically call ourselves USTAD. Example, there is a, so called, sitar player name Khalil Gudas. He now calls himself ustad. Listen to him for a second and you know what i mean.
