I'm a french guitarist and bass-player.
My musical preferences are finger-picking, bluegrass, jazz (but not free-jazz), blues, soul music. To resume, all music styles with nice melody and groove.
My preferred bass-player are:
- Paul Mc Cartney (for his feeling)
- Mark King (for his technic)
- Anthony Jackson (for all)
And my preferred guitarists are:
- Tommy Emmanuel (for his feeling, his melody, and his technic)
- Marcel Dadi (rest in peace), who has been a good promotion for the guitar in general and finger-picking in particular during the seventies and eighties.
- Brent Mason: great technician and melodist, with a great sound (by moment, he seems to play with a pedal steel guitar).
- More recently, i've discovered a great guitarist and singer, Tim Jordan. Listen to him and his band (Tim Jordan band). It's a real pleasure.
I apology for my quite poor english.
Talk you soon.
