The Greatest starting five in the NBA ever (based on playoff stats only) are Magic, Jordan, Bird, Bill Russell, and Shaq. Obviously, Jordan is the greatest individual player ever, but as far as team play goes, Magic & Bird & Bill Russell were the best at using the team concept to win the game. As far as big men go, Shaq is the clear choice. i know he cant make free throws but his playoff fg%, playoff scoring average, playoff rebounding total, free throw attempt total and playoff blocks total make him overall #1 if youre choosing a center.
