How lucky you are to have had these talented people near to you. I also grew up (in the Bronx) in the 60's and 70's.

I first saw Jackie Wilson on American Bandstand when I was a teenager. At that time, my mother pronounced him to be one of the greatest performers she had seen. I have loved him ever since. What a voice. What passion. I was so sad when he died, tragically, way too soon.

Thank you so much for making this available. I had been looking for Burl Ives singing "Time, Time, Time" for the longest time. I got all choked up listening to this.
