Nothing that presupposes the answer can be scientific. Science has to start with observations (facts) and then form theories to attempt to explain them.

An interesting analogy. I took an elective that was about religion and the lecturer said that many religions make a claim to being to correct a problem inherent in humans, though they vary on what it is and how to correct it, and this analogy seems to fit with that concept.
