Funny how the male host makes remarks about the Netherlands giving 12 points to Belgium, while his own country excels at giving maximum points to its neighbours :-)

The country an artist is representing should only be mentioned after the voting, so people would vote for the best song. But then nobody should sing in his/her mother tongue, and Eastern European singers should take some English pronunciation classes:)...

On the other hand, everybody has to admit that Americans know nothing about what is going on outside their country. And that's worrying, since the USA have that much power over the world. How can you regulate properly something you are not familiar with?....

@jdjj22 The majority of people in Belgium speak DUTCH! (it's about 6,5 million Dutch speaking and 4,5million French speaking). But the world doesn't seem to know that.

You forgot Vatican City, San Marino, Andorra, Monaco and Liechtenstein. Also, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland are no countries, the UK is.

Azerbaijan, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Malta, Norway, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands and the UK are the best!

@pratt68 Sweden makes the wrong choice almost every year, especially in 2008!
