Funny Enough, the voting is making the youtube art community come together because people are meeting new artists. This is good................In total over 950 people commented and hundreds more voted up and voted down various comments. Votes came from six of the seven continents and 101 of the 196 countries in the world. In the end, there were two channels that dominated the voting; BarryPFinnegan2 and Rona Project. BarryPFinnegan2 is the home channel of photorealistic artist Barry Jazz Finnegan. His channel had slightly more than 500 subscribers when the contest began last week. The favorite it seemed was RonaProject who had over 9000 subscribers when the contest began a week ago. Rona possibly has the most interesting and inspiring story on youtube. Its a true story of an incredibly talented Manga artist named Anthony Jacobo, who tragically passed away at the age of 24. Now Rona Project is being carried on by Anthony's cousin Ryan, who has kept the project going and is currently navigating through his own mourning, his professional responsibilities and the comic industry to get Rona Project Published. Its truly a story of art, transcending death.
I had mentioned in many of my comments that I am counting each up vote as a comment. I documented my process for counting votes and you are now watching me count all of the votes, right before your eyes. I did my best to not count youtube users who voted more than once and I spent extra time to see if the votes are accurate. It took me more than 12 hours. I counted Rona Project first. At the beginning of the contest, Rona jumped out to a huge lead and some people proclaimed that the contest was over. It was far from over, Rona Project ended up with a total of 443 votes. Next I counted BarryPFinnegan2.
I was shocked to find out that the voting wasn't even close. Despite the fact that Rona Project had a channel that was significantly larger, Barry Finnegan blew away Rona Project. In fact, he almost doubled Rona Projects score.
So what is the prize? I said that I was going to "hook you up big time." I am now on a mission to do just that. Mr Finnegan..... I want to attempt to double the size of your channel. Here is a link to Barry's awesome channel and a subscribe button. I recommend that you hit it! I want you all to know that I subscribed to his channel last week and his work is ridiculous! Go see what I mean. Barry, I pledge to help you get to at least 1000 subscribers. I hope that we can get you to that number tonight and I think we can.
I want to thank everybody for participating in this contest. I hope that it demonstrated to the decision makers at YouTube how important that it is that they recognize how many artists are using their site as a means of exhibition and communication. What you have given us is unprecedented! The impressionists met in small cafe's in Paris in the late 1800's to discuss art and get inspiration. Today, every day, artists from across the world are connection through the medium of video....and YouTube is our bridge. Why on Earth does youtube NOT have a Visual Arts Category. Please consider our perspective.
Before I end this video I want to ask everybody a question. What would you like to see as the next contest on kazanjianm? Please leave your ideas in the comments section below. Thanks for watching everybody. Please subscribe and check back often. I am hoping to have another contest in January of 2012.

You really do have an amazing 'eye' for detail when considering you take that detail from a phone (I assume).
I am honoured to be a friend in support.
Take care,
