Lively Hope:

"LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations." (Psa90:1)
These are the tremendous opening words of the oldest psalm in the book of Psalms called, in its superscript, the "prayer of Moses the man of God." Moses must have written it shortly before his death as he looked out over the promised land and realized that he himself would never live there Deu34:4-5. It did not really matter though, for he had lived in many places and none of them were really his home. As a baby he had lived for a brief while in a basket on the river, then in a queen's palace, then forty years in Midian, and forty more years wandering in the wilderness.

Furthermore, he had been meditating on the men of God of previous generations (after all, he had compiled all their ancient records in the book of Genesis) and had found that they, too, like the apostle Paul 1,500 years later, had "no certain dwellingplace" 1Cor 4:11. Adam had been expelled from his Garden; Noah lived for a year in an Ark on a worldwide sea, then the rest of his life in a devastated earth; Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob lived in tents in Canaan, and their descendants lived as slaves in Egypt.

Yet wherever they were, the Lord was with them. He had been their dwelling place, and this was Moses' first thought as he composed his great prayer. He also had written down "the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death" Deu33:1. Its climax was this great assurance: v27 "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms." The "refuge" of this promise is the same Hebrew word as "dwelling place" in our text. We, like they, are "strangers and pilgrims on the earth" Heb11:13, but "underneath are the everlasting arms."

Lord Jesus our good Shepherd said:

"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor." Jn12:25-26

Where the Lord is, there home is! And we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever Psalms 23!

Are you a "Faithful" Jehovah's Witness? Check this out:

Only the faithful ones of God "WORSHIP" Jesus Christ as WT Society's 1945 charter amendment states: the Society's purpose is the: "Worship of Almighty God and Christ Jesus"

Read WT book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy" p177-179. It states this 1945 Charter amendment fulfilled God's prophesy and "brought, restored" the Society into a right condition with God.

In 1945, that "right condition" was the "Worship of Almighty God and Christ Jesus"

All JWs who do not "WORSHIP" Christ Jesus, are not faithful witnesses in fellowship with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. The Father seeks you to worship Him in "spirit and in truth". It is truth we must fellowship in worship with the Father and with His Son, this is life eternal (John 17:3). All not giving pure whole-souled worship to the Father and to his Son Christ Jesus are not in a right condition with God.

It is written: 1John 1:3 "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."

To have whole-souled pure "Worship" in "Spirit and in Truth", JWs must Worship Almighty God and Christ Jesus.

According to JWs Bible, the NWT, who did John the Baptist cry out about: clearing up, preparing "HIS" way before "HE" came, to make "HIS" roads, the desert plain straight? NWT Mt3:3,11-13 [Isa40:3]

Did God, the Father or the Son come after John the Baptist prepared "HIS" way?

v13 "Then Jesus came..."

Jesus Christ truly is "Jehovah God" in NWT:

NWT Isa 40:3 "Listen! Someone is calling out in the wilderness: "Clear up the way of Jehovah [Son of God Jesus Christ], YOU people! MAKE the highway for our God [Jesus Christ] through the desert plain straight."

It is the shed blood of Christ alone that can cleanse us from all sin (1John 1:7).

The poet is certainly right when he wrote:

There is a fountain filled with blood, Drawn from Immanuel's veins; And sinners, plunged beneath that flood, Lose all there guilty stains. Amen!

THE LONELINESS OF THE CHRISTIAN
~A.W. Tozer:

"The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorption in the love of Christ; and because within his circle of friends there are so few who share his inner experiences he is forced to walk alone.

The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord Himself suffered in the same way.

The man [or woman] who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and over-serious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens.

He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart.

It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else."

My Jesus, My Savior, Lord there is none like You. All of my days, I want to praise, the wonders of Your mighty love. My comfort, my shelter, Tower of refuge and strength. Let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship You. Shout to the Lord, all the earth let us sing, Power and Majesty, Praise to the King! Mountains bow down and the seas will roar, at the sound of Your Name. I sing for joy at the work of Your hands, forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand! Nothing compares to the promise I have in You, my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

Hi Barb! I'm still getting used to some of these Youtube changes- why fix something that doesn't need fixing? A lot of my family on my Fathers side are Jehovah's Witnesses and they always come across to me as very dry and lacking the influence of the Holy Spirit. It's very sad how deceived they are! God Bless you.

For I do not want you to be unaware, Achim b'Moshiach, of this raz (mystery), lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a hardening in part has come over Yisroel, until the full number of the Goyim has come in; And so Klal Yisroel shall be delivered, as it is written: "Out of Tziyon shall come the Go'el (Deliverer, Redeemer); He will turn away, remove peysha from Ya'akov (Jacob), "And this will be My Berit (covenant) with them, when I take away their sins" YESHAYAH 59:20-21; 27:9

STORMIN >"Jehovah performed a maracle. he transferred the life of jesus from heaven to the womb of mary.-luke 1: 30-35."

JWs tried to teach me, their most high god jehovah, transferred his life-force from an angel into the egg-cell and womb of a daughter of men (mary), and being pregnant, gave birth to "a god, a mighty one of old, a man of fame.

The JWs god, simply repeated what JWs teach happened in Gen6: sons of god impregnated daughters of men, who birthed the gods, mighty ones of old.

I question what god "the jehovah of the watchtower" is; because of JWs teachings. 2Cor11:13 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

STORMIN >"all worship goes to Jehovah God.- Rev.4:11"

Read: NWT Rev4:11"You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created...5:11 And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: "The Lamb that was slaughtered is worthy to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing."

My Lord God Jesus Christ (NWT Jn17:11-12;20:28) is given the Name "Jehovah" by Holy Father. Both Father and Son Jesus, are worthy to receive worship (Rev4:11;5:11-12) Because God, the LORD of the Sabbath, created all things, and because of God's will they existed and were created. (Gen1:1-31;2:1-4; Ex20:8-11; Jn1:1-3; Mt12:6,8; Heb1:8-12) AMEN.
