長い爪を引っ掛け、ナマケモノのように、木に逆さにぶら下がる事­も出来るそうですが、

放飼場内に木はありません。

歩く時は、いつも長いツメがカチカチ音をたてます。

水を飲む時は、口をすぼめ、ストローで吸うように、吸い上げてい­ました。

円山動物園のヒマラヤグマ(別名ツキノワグマ)、トモ(メス/1­3歳)とミナミ(メス/16歳)。

夜の動物園のドキドキ体験で「餌入り氷のプレゼント」が行われま­した。

餌入り氷は2個用意され、1個はプールに、1個は岩の上に乗せら­れました。

最初に氷に向かったのはトモ。
