Mrs Miller was a decent singer. She went to Viet Nam in her heyday to visit the troops and was treated like royalty.She gave and gave of herself her entire life. She was a gem of a woman.

The bird lady is played by Jane Darwell who played Mrs Merriwether in Gone With the Wind. Walt Disney himself persuaded her to come out of retirement for this role. It was her last.

@bkvetter: I think that 37 years as VV vs 3 years makes Andy the REAL Vince Vance....not a 'play' one. He had the hits, he wrote the songs,he stayed while others left. Keep it going,Andy!
