i have to agree with SOUTHERNANDPROUD1861 below. i've had a '90 'Burb with the factory 6-2 in it, for almost 5 years now. dying to get a Sidwinder kit for it (i know, i know, "what's taking so long?.....") 'cause i just luv the sound she makes when i fire it up for the 1st time each Spring.

i've talked to a few people who have put a Banks kit on their 6-2's, and every single one of them have had nothing but rave reviews for the product.

gotta stop letting other "projects" pop up. need to save some more pennies for that kit!

thanks Gale, for all you do for the diesel industy, & our sport of choice.

killeryouth21. i think with a boost controller either electric... or manual with shims and things.springs and shims.
the electronic controller is computerized, and tells the computer to open or close the door that controls boost on the turbo system. as far as i know

@ ibbong420 2 things, 1st the black smoke is less harmful but diesels put out alot more smoke then gas engines. 2nd, theres no way a diesel truck is less harmful to the environment or ur health then a Prius. lol

I think your Duramax rail car is a shining example of what a diesel should be. That thing burns CLEAN. To many of the diesels out there are still giving them a bad name. There are many tree huggers out there ( me NOT included) and when they see these other diesels out there spewing black smoke they freak out, not understand its probably less harmful for the environment then there hybrids. Keep up the great work guys.
