i have an old argo too .and what i did was cut all that manual steering crap out and installed motorcycle hydrolic brake s with a set of handlebars ,she does 360.s with one inch turn on the bars,no more pulling levers to turn,works awsome

i just recently picked up an old amphicat,1968 i think,motor is ceased but everything else seems ok,wondering if anyone out there know the size of the biggest motor ever mounted in an amphicat,i plan on putting a 503 rotax in mine
