These pictures/videos are dedicated to the memory of my beloved 18 year old calico cat, Bambi, who passed away in my arms April 7, 2008. Two weeks after she crossed the Rainbow Bridge my husband brought home a box containing an abandoned momma cat and 4, one week old kittens, all starving. There is no doubt Bambi and Ashley, our rescued 11 yr old Lhasa Apso who passed Jan 29, 2008, sent them to us. There is a long haired Maine Coon mix we named Dinkie who has so many of Bambi's traits and then there is Bruiser, the big, blue-eyed, cross-eyed Siamese mix who thinks he is a dog and plays fetch with his toys. We kept all five after having them spayed and neutered and while they add much laughter in our home, there isn't a day that passes that tears are not shed for Bambi and Ashley. Bambi, aka The Bamberkat, was my first cat and the best cat ever...............:). I feel her spirit as well as that of Ashley guiding this little family of five that we rescued. I have been having fun videoing their progress from tiny kittens to the big, gorgeous 9 mo old cats they are now. And, of course, Minnie, their mom, who kept them all alive until they were found. Although, she had pushed Dinkie to one side to sacrifice her so the others could eat. Dinkie appeared to have been the last born and was near death when found. She is now the most gorgeous cat. Minnie spent hours and hours in my closet nursing Dinkie by herself and saved her life. It was amazing to watch.

Some of these videos have been shown on YouTube before when I put them on my friend's account and then I foolishly deleted them and am now starting over.

Thank you for looking at them and please come back for updates and also to see what happens to the momma cat and 4 kittens she brought into our garage several months ago. They could be called feral, but if given a chance I hope to socialize them and find them homes.
