Musician with deep engagement for music and roots.
In my channel I will only post videos while I play in front of my webcam. I'm a huge fan of Elvis Presley and have been since I was 5 years old. That was the day he died. I remember watching TV that day, and the program was interrupted with a special news report regarding The King's death. TV showed thousands of fans crying at the gates of Graceland, and clips of Elvis were shown. This left a big impression on me the little 5 year old boy, who after that day wanted record player and Elvis records for his birthday. I got it, and in my room I sang Elvis without knowing a word of English. My life had changed just like the millions of other life's Elvis had changed, and will continue to change in several generations. He is not only the most influential artist of our time and the greatest performer, he is also the biggest Icon the world has ever seen, and one of the most influential human beings in human history no matter what they do or is known for.
I dedicate this channel to the boy from Tupelo Mississippi with a passion for music - gospel, blues and country, that one day turned up in Sam Phillip's Sun Records with only his voice and his acoustic guitar. The rest is music history. On that day Rockabilly and Rock'n Roll was born, and music has never been the same since. He was the first ( popstar ) rockstar, and the first ever to become a world wide phenomenon. I guess every musician and music lover today has a lot to thank Elvis for.
In this channel I go back to the plain simple roots of it all. Just me, my voice and my guitar. Just like Elvis started out. This is the way I want to honor him and celebrate his memory. The simple - just the man and his acoustic guitar. Though this channel is dedicated to Elvis and he's my biggest inspiration, I may cover other great songs from other artists I admire.
The King lives on forever, and so does his inspiration.
