I gave the original Spooky Tooth version a listen, but prefer the Move's more aggressive, rhythmic and up-tempo version; as I do the Move's version of the Byrds' "So You Want to be a Rock-n-Roll Star," which the Byrds themselves reportedly preferred. Still, a great song's a great song, anyway y...

Actually, "torpedoing" a fish is a good way to get the fish down to cool water, which improves the survival odds.
