Ballers International is a hd sound system, dj crew and recording studio (Hall A Fame). We also promote parties and other events. Our restaurant, clothing and accessory store will be opening soon.

Being from downtown, Kingston. I was enrich with the early stages of dancehall music and became a huge fan of the culture. With such of a rich heritage, my first step in the music business was doing club promotions. Sometimes being a spectator and the promoter standing in the crowd watching selectors doing their thing was overwhelming, but at other times looking at the faces of patrons and their body languages i could tell when they were not feeling a certain selection of music. My outlook at dancehall was a non stop juggling approach with less interruption from the long stopping of music and frequently saying things in the microphone that had nothing to do with the dance. As some patrons use to get disturb with these things they would sometimes shout at the selectors or make their exit to the door. After years of observing and being interrupted myself at times, I took a break from the promotional side and decided to build a sound system that would change all those unsuitable situations. My concern was
to keep people moving all night long, at what ever cost as soon as they step inside a dance.

I started buying sound equipment in the later part of 2006. I would then talk to experience, highly qualified
technicians and engineers in Jamaica, over the internet and in local stores in the U.S. to make sure I'm getting the newest technology money could buy, I wanted the new HD quality sound at the end. After a year of buying equipment and accessories from the U.S. because of their high standard they was shipped to Jamaica where the boxes were being made. I asked the engineer to design the boxes exclusively, like no other sounds have in the business. In the Meantime, I was thinking of a name that would incorporated all the different aspect of my life and to be catchy and classy. Being a team captain growing up for most of my soccer teams including the infamous Camperdown. And being from Oxford St in
downtown that was known for producing the most Jamaica National Team Members for any given street in the island, the great Hector "Best" Pinnock, Bingi Barker, Joshua Hamilton, Frank Brown, Ken Garcia,Lloyd "Lautus" McLaren, Lenworth "Teacher" Hyde, Ricardo "Booma" Hyde, Troy "Pepsi" Pinnock and Ali Rose. And buying the latest clothes, jewelry and spending alot at the bar. I decided on the name BALLERS. Living back and forth overseas for years I decided on the name INTERNATIONAL. My street have a soccer team called Oxford United for years in the West Kingston Soccer Leaque and the colour of our uniforms was blue with white. Also I wanted to stand out from the traditional black boxes, I decided to paint the sound boxes blue and that was a winner.

When the boxes was being painted on the street it attracted people from all over as they fell in love with the
blazing Regatta Blue.
