I'm using a Canon Powershot SD880 (just a compact camera), the white balance set to evaluate (evaluates the center of the picture frame), with the vid being shot in 640x480. A lot of my older vids were shot with a Canon SD770. The new camera is a big improvement in sound and picture, so I'm guessing there's big difference between cameras (basically how well they perform in low light). I find the quality to vary depending on the lighting: pure red/blue and the video/pics are usually crappy. For previous shows, I've had some video being virtually black. The thing that improves quality the most (imho) is how close you are to the stage (more light going into the camera). This time, I think being on the balconey helped (more light reflected from stage), the Korpiklaani show has the clearest vids I've taken from Club Soda.

I have a question! I was at the Korpiklaani event and seeing your videos, I can only be impressed by the quality and that makes me wonder on my camera. I brought it there and my pictures weren't very good and clear and the definiton is...well you can guess. I tried to ask other people on the subject because I'm not very good when it comes to having the good functionalities and properties and in the end I'm still mixed up in that. I love taking pictures and I wish I could take great ones! I took like 200 pictures + videos there...
If that can help I use a Pentax Optio L60 5x optical zoom and 6.3mm - 31.5 mm...

Yes, they played Dreams. I think it may have been the first song (?) because I remember being jolted by it's changing time-signature. Jolted in a good way, because I was reminded why Tyr stands out from many of the other bands. imho.

did Tyr play "Dreams" in their set? I'm seeing them tmrw...
