One of the best he ever did. The arrangement by Robert Farnon is tremendous. It ranks with "Drinkin' Again" by Johnny Mercer as among my favorites by F.S. I've felt the way the lyrics describe the situation in both songs--back in the forties and fifties when I was in high school.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the positive comments made by so many young people. I've been listening to FS since the mid forties. A suggestion: listen to his "Christmas Dreaming," recorded in 1947. It's his best Christmas song.

About baldinifan's channel
It's amazing to me how young people can/do appreciate FS. I'm 78 yrs. old and marvel at the comments. It's good to have that in common. I started listening to him in 1946 and haven't stopped since.
